Press Release Summary = Hen weekends are very popular, here we join the CEO of www.bookmethatnight.com to find out just why Hen Parties are getting so popular in 2007.
Press Release Body = We managed to take some time from Hen and Stag party specialist CEO Tony Roberts of www.bookmethatnight.com and ask him all about why Hen Party weekends are getting more popular year on year.
Helen: So Tony, back in the old days a hen party used to consist of a few drinks down the pub and possibly a meal in a restaurant, why are people deciding to make a weekend of it these days?
Tony: I think it\'s a sign of the times Helen, the women of today are more adventurous when it comes down to enjoying themselves and with a hen weekend they can do just that. Some of the activities open to them on a professionally arranged hen weekend are fantastic. Many of our hens choose events in the day like Paintballing, Go Karting and even Rally Driving!
Helen: But isn\'t all this expensive?
Tony: Not at all, for example, many of our top day and evening activities include a free place. A very exciting weekend can be had from as little as £99, including accommodation with some of our packages.
Helen: That\'s very reasonable. What are your most popular hen party destinations in the UK?
Tony: Brighton is number one at the moment, followed by London, Edinburgh and Nottingham.
Helen: And mainland Europe?
Tony: Prague in the Czech Republic is the most popular but the Spanish city of Barcelona is now beginning to catch it up, I used to live in Barcelona and it is a beautiful city with such a vibrant buzz.
Helen: Surely the mainland Europe hen weekends are expensive though Tony?
Tony: They do work out slightly higher in price than the UK hen weekends but the beauty of commercial airline competition means that many flights to mainline European destinations are very cheap these days. Many low-cost scheduled and charter flights fly into Barcelona airport each day from all over the UK. What our hens find pleasantly surprising is that these cities are usually not as expensive as the UK for prices on drinks, taxis etc.
Helen: Sounds great, what about say, if some of the hen group didn\'t want to do all the events that the bride to be wanted to do?
Tony: That\'s not a problem Helen, with our \"tailor made\" packages the hens only pay for the events that they decide to do, we are very flexible on that, our ultimate goal is to make sure that every member of the hen party has a fantastic time.
Helen: How do you select suitable accommodation?
Tony: All accommodation is broken down into three to five categories, budget, standard, superior, luxury and luxury deluxe. Something to suit everyones budget. And also Helen the accommodation has been chosen especially for stag and hen groups.
Helen: Looking at your prices and having compared them to a couple of other websites you do appear to be cheaper. Why is this?
Tony: We have volume agreements with our suppliers and all our prices quoted include VAT at the rate of 17.5%, also insurance is optional rather than a compulsory extra.
Helen: Finally Tony, can you see the hen party weekend trend continuing at the current rate or do you think the market will level out?
Tony: Well it\'s currently at its highest peak and I can see it remaining that way for the foreseeable future, that is mainly because people want more than just a few bottles of wine and a meal, the ladies these days are all about having fun, and that is what sites like www.bookmethatnight.com are all about! Having fun and letting your hair down, and having an experience you\'ll never ever forget!
